    9 Best Juicer Blender Combo

    1. Blendtec – Original Designer Blender

    Blendtec - Original Designer Blender
When you’re spending more than 100 bucks on something, you’d want to make sure it’s worth the price. In a world where most people pay money for the so-called ‘brand value’, the Blendtec- Original Designer Blender offers value for money. It makes sure you don’t have a single complaint with your blending and juicing experience.

While it’s true Blendtec doesn’t make the most affordable blenders in the market, the consistency in their performance is notable. Even without paying the price for a commercial-grade blender, you get the consistency of the smoothie you used to pay for in shops.

The container design speaks of modern engineering. No matter how much ingredient is inside, everything falls back into the blades. Even though I’m not a fan of preset functions, the ones included are good enough.

On the other hand, the 1560W motor is capable of making your smoothies as smooth as you need. And it’ll continue to do it without causing any kind of sudden shut-offs or smokes.

I won’t be going deep into the Tritan plastic jar as there’s no doubt about the quality. But I do appreciate the jar measurements. Some juicer blender combos have gigantic pitchers. There’s no denying those are superb for commercial usage but in your home kitchen, that creates more problems.

    Pros

    • Convenient spout design
    • Lightweight yet powerful 1560W motor
    • Easy to operate LED-lit control panel
    • Proper size for countertops and cabinets

    Cons

    • Doesn’t come with a tamper

    2. Vitamix 5200 Blender

    Vitamix 5200 Blender

The Vitamix 5200 cuts down on all the modern flare and focuses mostly on performance. From the very first look, it’s easy to figure out this blender is absolutely down to earth.

In fact, the simple controls and sturdy build quality are what make this juicer blender combo stand out. The 20.5-inch tall blender with its rather bulky bottom part is probably not the right size for small countertops. But it makes everything worth it with its 1400W powerful motor(2.0 horsepower).

Put everything in the 64-ounce jar and it’ll make you silky smooth beverages in less than a minute. And unlike the Blendtec one, it comes with a tamper so that you can burst the air bubbles without stopping the blender.

However, living in this modern age, sometimes it’s better to help from technology. This is something the Vitamix 5200 disagrees and the absence of preset functions proves that.

While I always suggest using manual controls for most recipes. Sometimes you just don’t have the time to stand around and manually control the blender. When you buy something with this much money, it’s normal to expect some convenience.

    Pros

    • Aircraft-grade durable stainless steel blades
    • 10 variable speed settings
    • Gigantic Tritan plastic jar
    • Self-cleaning option

    Cons

    • No preset functions

    3. Ninja BL770 Mega Kitchen System and Blender

Ninja BL770 Mega Kitchen System and Blender
In this modern age, where everyone is talking about compact items, the Ninja BL770 fuses the use of a juicer, blender, and food processor. On top of everything else, this heavy-duty juicer blender combo is dishwasher safe, making the overall experience even better.

The 1500W motor isn’t a worthy opponent to the Blendtec or the Vitamix 5200, but you’ll be amazed to see how well this affordable product can hold the consistency in your drinks. The Total Crushing Technology manages to crush ice into snow in a matter of seconds.

And you can’t forget about the meal processing capabilities of this machine. The food processor has its own blades. But the dough mixing blade does an okay job and frankly, this product wasn’t built to outperform the big dogs.

The Ninja BL770 Mega Kitchen System and Blender offers crazy value for money. While it’s true that you sacrifice some of the performance, there’s no denying it’s got the best bang for the buck.

    Pros

    • Decent blending power
    • Sturdy blending experience thanks to the rubber feet
    • Comes with a separate food processor
    • Dishwasher safe BPA-free construction

    Cons

    • Not the quietest blender in the market

    4. Ninja Duo Blender

    Ninja Duo Blender

Ninja has been cutting off the ‘fat’ from price tags every time they come up with a new product. The Ninja Duo blender is even cheaper than the previous model. But is it only the price that’s cheap or is the machinery cheap too?

Well, the powerful and reliable 1400W(peak) motor says otherwise. Even with an affordable price tag, they provided it with a sturdy motor that can pulverize ice into snow in a jiff.

While I admit that the rated capacity of the motor is significantly lower. And it’s far behind powerful models like the Vitamix 5200. But it’s got 2 sets of blades to make the job a tad bit smoother.

The Total Crushing blades ensure you don’t feel any ice cubes in your drinks. On the other hand, the Pro Extractor blades are there to slice up whole fruits, seeds, and vegetables. It might seem simple but green smoothies aren’t the easiest to make, especially when you’re working with an affordable juicer blender combo.

Being easy to operate and providing a powerful experience with less money makes the Ninja Duo Blender an excellent choice for the average Joe.

If you’re willing to sacrifice a few high-end features, then go for it. Because when it comes to raw performance and simple usage without emptying your pockets, this blender juicer combo takes the win.

    Pros

    • 2 sets of powerful and versatile blades
    • Easy controls offer a convenient usage
    • Affordable price tag yet comes with a powerful motor
    • Has a micro-juice filter to remove the pulp from the juice

    Cons

    • Could’ve used better soundproofing

    5. NutriBullet ZNBF30500Z Blender Combo

    NutriBullet ZNBF30500Z Blender Combo
NutriBullet is coming out of its “As seen on TV” phase and focusing more on how to become a health-conscious brand that cares about the people. One of the very first steps was introducing their NutriBullet ZNBF30500Z Blender Combo.

While they launched it to fight off the front-liners. But the value for money price tag reveals the real story. Even though it’ll never be a commercial-grade product, the modern and hefty stainless steel construction makes it a remarkable juicer blender combo.

With blenders, you have to think a bit differently. The blades don’t need to be the sharpest and neither does it need to be light as a feather.

As a matter of fact, a heavy build quality ensures the machine doesn’t vibrate as much when it’s working for a long time. Furthermore, the NutriBullet ZNBF30500Z has a couple of rubber suction cups at the bottom, enhancing stability.

That being said, there’s no reason not to buy the NutriBullet ZNBF30500Z Blender Combo except for the fact the noise can be as loud as vacuums. However, that’s a common issue for affordable blender juicer combos. So, you shouldn’t make a huge deal out of this.

    Pros

    • Compact size fits in most kitchen cabinets
    • Powerful and reliable blender
    • Easy to use functions
    • Modern and sleek design

    Cons

    • Not a top performer in crushing ice

    6. Hamilton Beach Wave Crusher Blender

Hamilton Beach Wave Crusher BlenderDesign and performance-wise, Hamilton Beach is known for making one of the most affordable blenders without sacrificing significant quality. The Hamilton Beach Wave Crusher Blender is another of its proud juicer blender combo.

Even though they call it a 3 in 1 functionality, in reality, it’s a rather different scenario. They wanted to mean it has 3 different sizes you can use for multiple usages. But it can also blend the ingredients in 3 different ways.

However, it doesn’t have the most powerful motor out there. The 700W motor does an excellent job of pulverizing everything put in the blender but it’ll suffer from heavy-duty jobs.

If you’re planning on using it for your home kitchen, it could very well make you everything from silky smooth smoothies to fresh tomato sauce in no time.

Although I do have to point out one thing. The convenient 20 oz BPA-free travel pitcher they give you is awesome in every way. In case you want to take some with you, simply make yourself a smoothie in that and put the lid on.

    Pros

    • The compact design makes storing easier
    • Comes with a convenient travel jar
    • Includes a separate food processor

    Cons

    • Doesn’t have variable speed controls

    7. Cuisinart CPB-380 Hurricane Compact Juicing Blender

Cuisinart CPB-380 Hurricane Compact Juicing BlenderCompact and useful, the two words are perfect for describing the Cuisinart CPB-380 Hurricane Compact Juicing Blender. The easy to clean single-serving pitchers help you make the delicious smoothies you deserve.

Even though the 600W motor isn’t the most capable one out there, it manages to crush everything you put inside it. It might not be able to make bar quality ice but it somewhat survives the battleground.

But there’s no denying it’s quieter than a lot of other brands. While other blenders are ear-splittingly loud, this juicer blender combo keeps the noise to a bearable level.

However, I’m rather disappointed with the speed controls. While it does have 3-speed settings and a pulse button, it’s nothing much. And the problem with mid-range blender juicer combos is that they don’t do well in heavy-duty jobs.

For instance, you can’t rely on this blender if you’re planning on selling smoothies with it. Give it a few months and the motor will burn on its own.

That said, the Cuisinart CPB-380 is an incredible blender for day to day usages. But don’t go for it if you’ve got heavy-duty tasks.

    Pros

    • Couldn’t get easier to use
    • Cost-effective price
    • Great for single-servings

    Cons

    • Not built for heavy-duty tasks

    8. Ninja BL610 Professional 72 Oz Countertop Blender

Ninja BL610 Professional 72 Oz Countertop BlenderFrom thirst-quenching shakes to healthy and silky smooth smoothies, the Ninja BL610 can blend almost everything with its robust and powerful motor. Along with the motor, you get a 72 oz pitcher that lets you make a ton of juice for the entire family.

And the best part? Despite the heavy base and steady build quality, disassembling the blender is a piece of cake. On top of that, the parts are dishwasher safe, so there’s another relief.

Other than that, you’re already familiar with the Total Crushing Blades from before. Whether it’s ice or fruits, all the pulverizing will be done in no time.

The one bummer is you only get the 72 oz pitcher and that’s it. But the quality they’re offering at this price point is worth it. And it makes sense to focus on the parts that actually matter like the build quality and the motor.

If I get a motor that’ll last two more years instead of a travel jar, I’ll go for the motor every single time.

    Pros

    • Powerful 1000W motor delivers steady performance
    • Comes with a large 72 oz jar
    • Easy to operate controls

    Cons

    • Doesn’t have any extra pitchers

    9. Nutri Ninja Personal Blender

    Nutri Ninja Personal Blender

Finally, let’s close shop with the final product from Ninja, the Nutri Ninja Personal Blender. With personal blenders like this, you get to save up both money and space, making them perfect for small kitchens and dorm people.

Even though this little guy is priced way lower than its big-size Ninja cousins, the performance isn’t bad at all. In fact, it can manage to crush fruits and ice in a matter of seconds.

On top of that, the operation is the easiest of this bunch of blenders. Like most personal blenders, simply put some pressure on the top and it’ll start blending everything.

However, keep in mind that there’s no speed control. So, recipes with little to no liquid might take a little longer to prepare. But if it’s a case of crushing ice, 10 seconds is all it needs.

    Pros

    • Simple and sturdy design
    • Effortless cleaning process
    • Quick operation

    Cons

    • Loudness is its best friend

    Juicer Blender Combo Buying Guide

In the case of juicer blender combos, more often than not it’s a matter of you get what you pay for. But there are a few silver linings that could help you get the best juicer blender combo and save a few bucks along the way-

    The Vortex

It’s a no-brainer that the vortex isn’t a part of the blender. The vortex is a mechanism that brings down the food to the blades with the help of gravity and some calculative design.

Other than the jar shape, the combination of the blade and motor strength results in creating the perfect vortex. Here’s a couple of pointers regarding this-

    Jar Shape

When it’s about blender jars, size DOES matter. Tall and curvy bottom, the two things you should ensure in your juicer blender combo. The wide and flat bottomed jars won’t result in a consistent blend.

However, there’s a huge downside to tall juicer blenders. When fully assembled, tall jars can become a nightmare to store in your countertops or low hanging cabinets.

In such cases, wide and flat bottomed jars come in handy. But keep in mind that you’re trading convenience at the cost of performance. Nonetheless, the choice is up to you and your needs.

    Blade

Did you know that higher-end blenders don’t come with the sharpest blades? Instead, they focus on making the blade more sturdy. The enhanced durability allows the blades to last over a long period of time.

And if you’ve seen your share of top-notch juicer-blender combos, you know they can pulverize almost anything.

    Motor Strength

This is somewhat of a shady area. The motor strength manufacturers give doesn’t show the full picture. In most cases, you’ll find the peak horsepower.

The fun part is, your blender won’t run on peak horsepower 99.99% of the time. Because it only goes that far to come out of the dormancy.

And as soon as it’s done it gets back to the rated horsepower. This indicates how far the motor can go without burning all the wires.

Although it’s better if you know how to calculate the horsepower of a blender-

    • Get the rated horsepower of the blender
    • Divide it by 746(746W = 1HP)
    • The number you get is the horsepower

    Jar Material

Sure there are a couple of options you get when selecting the jar material. But if it were up to me, I’d go for plastic or metal jars. First of all, BPA-free plastic is completely safe and they’re tough as heck.

This extra durability makes them perfect for powerful motors. However, this isn’t something you can’t expect from glass jars. They might have the shiny looks, but in terms of sturdiness, they’re far behind other materials.

On top of that, they’re not even the safest choice. If a spoon or fork somehow gets inside, it might injure you severely.

However, plastic and polycarbonate jars aren’t ideal for dishwashers. So, if there’s no way you couldn’t avoid using the dishwasher, go for metal jars.

    Speed Control

Some people like preset functions and some people can’t stand them. While it’s true that preset functions come quite handy when you have to do multitasking in the kitchen.

However, they’re not reputed to give out the best results. It’s like they haven’t figured out the ‘magic touch’ yet. For that reason, you must ensure your juicer blender combo has variable speed controls and a pulse button.

    Cleaning Ease

Some high-end and metal blenders are dishwasher safe. But it doesn’t have to go in the dishwasher if there’s a better solution. Conventional blenders can clean themselves in only a few seconds.

Pour a few drops of soap and water, then, let it go at high speed for a few seconds. Wash the jar in the sink and you’ll be done.

Although this if you do buy a dishwasher safe juicer blender combo, don’t make the mistake of putting the bottom part inside the dishwasher. This goes for all the blenders out there.

    Tamper

Back when I was a kid, I used to fear the tamper. I could never figure out how that plastic thing isn’t getting stuck on the blades. Then life happened and I saw how it works.

Despite being a simple thing, the effectiveness will stay intact. Whenever the air bubbles show up, this comes into action. It lets you burst the air bubbles without having to stop the motor. These small gestures are often what makes the overall experience better.

    Juicer Blender Combo FAQs

Can you buy a juicer and blender in one?

Buying a juicer and blender combo is a smart decision considering you can save both space and money. Besides, operating two different appliances eats up a significant amount of time. Using a combination of the two is preferable from almost every angle.

Is there a difference between juicing and blending?

As the name suggests, blending blends everything from the fruit itself to its seeds. But juicing is different. Instead of crushing everything, it squeezes out the juice from the juice and removes the pulp and fibers.

    Do centrifugal juicers destroy nutrients?

Answer: While some people believe the oxidation and heat from centrifugal juicers destroy the nutrients, in reality, there’s not enough heat to break down the nutrients. However, being much faster, centrifugal juicers result in unavoidable oxidation. But it’s not significant enough to destroy nutrients.

Is there a blender that also juices?

Answer: The Ninja Duo is a perfect example of a blender that also juices. With the help of its micro juice filters, removing the pulp is rather easy. Moreover, it’s got the DrinkSaver feature that removes air so you can store it for longer.

    Final Verdict

It’s almost time to say our goodbyes. But what’s the verdict on the best juicer blender combo?

To tell you the truth, it depends on a lot of factors like price, usage, durability, etc. but it’s my job to pave you a clear way. So, here’s my opinion-

Go for the Blendtec – Original Designer Blender or Vitamix 5200 if you want the best of the best. For saving up a few bucks, the Ninja BL770 and the Ninja BL610 are tough ones to beat. And finally, for the quick solution, settle with the Nutri Ninja Personal Blender if you think you can handle the extra noise.

So, that’s been it. Don’t forget to tell me which juicer blender combo you liked the best in the comment section below!
